Welcome to Knightcastle. We are a small home-based kennel, fully devoted to the black flat-coated retriever, a wonderful dog who's life depends on happiness and exercise. The flat-coated is also, by nature, an excellent retriever, especially with ducks. It's a very popular hunting dog in Europe, but almost unknown here in America. The flat-coated retriever is the perfect dog to have in the house, also with children. Always happy and ready for action, he will never let you down.

I currently have six dogs: Darwin, Nova, Céleste, Baxter, Tora and Holly. They are very active dogs and are in excellent health.

I produce puppies only from time to time, mainly to fulfill my own requirments. My breeding program is very serious and I use only european dogs, mainly from Netherlands and soon UK. I use the 'Bio Sensor' program, developed by the US Army to stimulate new born puppies. My training program includes obedience, conformation, hunt tests and tracking. I train and handle my dogs myself. I am also a CKC certified judge in hunt tests and working certificates for retrievers.
