Welcome to Knightcastle kennel. We are a small home-based kennel, fully devoted to the black flat-coated retriever, a wonderful dog who's life depends on happiness and exercise.

The flat-coated is, by nature, an excellent retriever, especially with ducks. It's a very popular hunting dog in Europe, but almost unknown here in America. The flat-coated retriever is the perfect dog to have outside or in the house, playing with ou or with children. Always happy and ready for action, he will never let you down. My dogs are part of my life and are living in the house, no kennel.

I currently have five dogs: Nova, Céleste, Baxter, Holly, Forrest and Tora. They are very active dogs and are in excellent health. I am not pushing them with over-training and retire them at a young age from competition. Their results speak for themselves.

I produce puppies only from time to time, mainly to fulfill my own requirments. My breeding program is very serious and I use mainly european dogs.

I use the 'Bio Sensor' program, developed by the US Army to stimulate new born puppies. My training program includes obedience, conformation, hunt tests and tracking. I train and handle my dogs myself. I am also a CKC certified judge in hunt tests and working certificates for retrievers.
