This was Nova's third litter. For me it was like a new begining because Pen (American CH Shannara's Penderrin) is Bowie's son (Nova's first mate). Pen won Best of opposite sex at the 2007 american FCRSA specialty sweepstakes. He also has the very 'scandinavian' look. 8 puppies were born on September 8 2008, all black, 6 males and 2 females. Sadly, because of a severe virus, 7 pups died before reaching week one. My first bad experience as a breeder.
