Céleste is the first born puppy from my Nova. She represents the 'scandinavian side' of Knightcastle's future. She is exactly the type of dog I was looking for with this litter : the quiet temper and skills of her mother, Nova, and the exuberant side of her father, Bowie. At first sight, I really think that Céleste will be my next 'performance' dog in obedience, hunt tests and tracking, she is my 'action girl' ! She is very curious and she doesn't miss a thing, especially an airplaine, the Moon or the shadow of a bird flying by !
On November 17 2006 in Ottawa, on the very next day after she turned one year, she obtained her Canadian Championship ( CH ) by being 'Best of Breed' against 3 adults. I always handled her, making two times the final cut in the 'Sporting Group'. She is my second home-bred Canadian Champion.
On April 21 2007, in 3 concecutive trials, she earned her first obedience title ( CD ) and on her only trial of the year, she earned her first hunt title ( WC ) on September 8 2007. Working with me and having a duck in her mouth, these are the things that matter for her ! She is also a great swimmer and tracker ! On February 15 2008 in Carp (Ontario), she earned her second obedience title ( CDX ) with high scores. It took her only four trials to achieve that. She also has one major in the US for her american champonship. In the spring of 2008, Céleste took her training back and completed quickly her Junior Hunter ( JH ) title.
On September 12 2008, Céleste gave birth to eight puppies from her breeding with the beautiful Exel. This is Knightcastle's second generation. Performance people, breeders, hunters and people who simply wanted a new friend came to me for that litter. It was the King Arthur litter.
She is a very stylish female, well balanced all combined with a great temperament. Now it's time for fun !
