Nova is truly a wonderful dog and certainly the most important one in my life. She is Knightcastle's foundation bitch. She is very smooth and calm and that seems to pass on to her children. With her two litters, she also changed my life forever by allowing me to become a serious breeder.

She comes from two absolutely wonderful dogs ; Nemo (Am/Can CH Blacfriar Nautilus Capt'n CDX JH WCI / Am CDX) from Rachel Hill and Happy (Inglis Brise de la Campagne CDX JH WC) from Isabelle Vézina.

She completed her Canadian Championship ( Ch ) at 16 months, with 3 majors, at home in Montreal, at the Olympic Stadium. With only a few weeks of training, she obtained her first Obedience Title ( CD ) at Carp, in Ontario. Just one week after she turned two, she obtained her CDX under the burning sun of Châteauguay ! At Syracuse, NY, on April 1st 2006, Nova earned her American CD on 3 consecutive trials. On July 22th 2006, she completed her Junior Hunter ( JH ).

On November 16 2005, Nova gave birth to 8 wonderful puppies. Bowie (Dutch/Am/Can CH Serilde Velenocelestiale) is the Sire. From this litter, Céleste and Baxter completed their Canadian Championship as puppies and also obtained their CD very fast (Salsa also). And on June 30 2007, Baxter became at 19 months, an American Champion with 4 majors in 6 shows.

On July 9 2007, another adventure began, Nova being a mother for a second time. She was bred with the Best of Winners of the 2007 US specialty, Thor (Am/Can/Dutch CH Flat Castle's Olympic Torch) and 8 puppies came out, all healthy. With her daughter Tora, I will have the opportunity to breed with the best British lines.

In fall 2007, with the help of a personnal trainer, Nova is again in the Utility ring and on December 15 2007 in Sudbury (Ontario), she earned her UD title ( OTCh ) on her sixth trial only. On June 27 2008, with her son Baxter, she earned her Working Certficate ( WC ).

On September 4 2008 she gave birth to 8 wonderful from her breeding with Pen (American CH Shannara's Penderrin). This was supposed to be her last litter but a terrible virus killed 7 puppies. I will repeat this breeding in 2009.

I am very proud of you Nova, you really have a special place in my heart. I'll love you forever !
