The 'Milky Way' litter

This was Nova's third litter. For me it was like a new begining because Pen (American CH Shannara's Penderrin) is Bowie's son (Nova's first mate). Pen won Best of opposite sex at the 2007 american FCRSA specialty sweepstakes. He also has the very 'scandinavian' look. 8 puppies were born on September 8 2008, all black, 6 males and 2 females.
Sadly, because of a severe virus, 7 pups died before reaching week one. My first bad experience as a breeder.
Lucky. He is the only survivor from that wonderful litter. On September 16, my own birthday, Lucky opened his eyes for the first time. On September 21, I started to give him real food grinded and mixed with goat's milk. He loved that so much ! Lucky's story made him famous all around the world!
On November 1st 2008 little Lucky left my home for his new one to live his life with Guillaume, Annick and Kira, he is in good hands. Live long little boy, I love you.
